Process
Control & Loop Tuning Course (2-days)
|
|
|
|
Course Information:
|
| Course
Description: |
This
training course familiarizes students with common industrial control loops and gives
them the abilities to setup, tune, and troubleshoot common control loops.
This training course covers a variety of control techniques such as ON/OFF control, proportional control, proportional-integral control, and full PID control.
Students will setup and tune various
real-world control loops (not computer simulated) on our
pressure, temperature, and level training stations.
A heavy emphasis is placed on understanding the
complex concepts of PID control loops, and on understanding overall loop
dynamics, as well as familiarizing students with common terminology and
controller features.
