PanelView Training Course (1-day)

Course Information:

Course Description:  This training course introduces the students to PanelView® systems and PanelBuilder32 software. 

It also covers the hardware issues associated with PanelView® systems, as well as training students how  to program, trace and troubleshoot logic / PLC problems. 

The course uses PanelView® 600 color touch/keypad style terminals interfaced to our standard SLC® based PLC training stations. 

Length:  1 day (1 to 2 days for custom onsite training)
Percent Hands-on: 75%
Training Equipment: SLC 500 based Training Stations; PanelView 550 / 600 PanelView stations; Dell Laptop Computers (WindowsXP Pro, RSLogix® 500, RSLinx®); 
Pre-requisites:  Basic computer skills with Windows XP very helpful. No previous PLC experience or knowledge needed.
Target Audience:  Electricians, Technicians, Engineers
Maximum class size:  8 students

Troubleshoot hardware problems with PanelView terminals
Troubleshoot and trace logic from PanelView system to and from PLC system
Build and download basic PanelView applications
Modify and improve PanelView applications
Implement PanelView components such as numeric entries, buttons, displays, bar-graphs, gauges, screen selectors, etc.
Understand possibilities and common application techniques for PLC / PanelView systems.
