Technical Instructors

The Job: The primary function of these positions will be to provide direct hands-on training to small, focused groups of students for 2 to 5 days at a time teaching technical industrial-oriented classes (within Instructor's specific skill set). The "Onsite" courses will be held at customer sites across the US. The "Open Enrollment" courses will be held in public meeting rooms, banquet facilities, or other sites across the US. 

Other functions may include: Assisting with developing new courses, customizing specific courses for clients, or improving existing courses.  Provide input and assist with improvements to courses and training equipment. Provide honest information and input to prospective clients to assist with sales, setup, and development of custom courses. 

Skills / Experience: Key combinations of the following: SLC 500, PLC-5, ControlLogix, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Advanced Industrial Ethernet communications, RS/SQL, RSNetworx, Advanced RSLinx applications, RSView, PanelView Systems, Instrumentation & Calibration, Process Control & Loop Tuning, VFD/PowerFlex applications, WonderWare, Cimplicity, Fix, Industrial Electronics, Visual Basic / VBA programming in an Industrial Automation environment. Any course development skills or experience a plus, including technical writing and graphics experience. Software skills such as PowerPoint, and graphics packages a plus.

Sales/Marketing

The Job: Sell technical training services and equipment to industrial clients. Provide input on marketing and sales efforts. Develop sales literature (pamphlets, flyers, and other mediums). Improve, maintain, and provide input on company websites. Provide input on company business strategies. Make direct and follow-up sales calls for Technical Training services. Develop and organize customer contact lists.

Skills / Experience:  Assist with internet, and mass-mailing marketing efforts. Provide direct and phone sales for industrial technical training services. Technical knowledge of the industrial automation industry helpful. Experience with a major automation vendor  or representative would be very helpful. FrontPage or other web development software skills helpful. Experience with graphics design software desired.

Local Field Support Technician (Idaho Falls, Idaho)

The Job: Assist with construction and development of technical training equipment. Assist with creation and development of training course books, particularly graphics design aspects. Create and modify 2-D AutoCAD drawings from sketches. Assist with maintenance of office and training computers. Assist with automation controls projects in the shop and in the field as needed. Perform internet or other research as needed / directed. Assist with maintaining company website. Maintain computers and small network. Assist Sales and Engineering staff as needed in accomplishing company goals. 

Skills / Experience: A basic understanding of Electricity is required. Current enrollment or completion of an Electrical / Electronics training program (or equivalent knowledge) a plus. Computer skills such as PC repair, small office networking, MS FrontPage, AutoCAD, PageMaker/Correl/Illustrator or similar graphics design applications, would be a plus. We will train the right candidate in the details of automation, but desire a base knowledge in Electrical / Electronics. Experience or familiarity with industrial manufacturing or processing is a plus. 
Attributes: Integrity and honesty are absolutely essential. Must also be friendly, self-driven, eager and able to learn complex technical material. Strong abilities in basic Math and Algebra, Trigonometry / Geometry, Physics, General Sciences desired. Must be able to relate well with a wide variety of customers, under demanding conditions. Must be dependable and willing to work long hours when needed. Strong written and verbal communications skills desired. Ability to develop into professional leadership role required.

Administrative Assistant (Idaho Falls, Idaho)

The Job: Assist with running office. Taking phone calls from customers and vendors. Create and maintain customer databases. Process customer billing and payments. Perform general administrative duties as assigned.

Skills / Experience: 1-2 years administrative experience desired. Experience answering phone calls in business professional environment. Good computer skills including WindowsXP, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Capable to learn new computer functions and programs.

Must be able to relate well over the phone, via email, and directly in person with a wide variety of customers, under occasionally difficult conditions.
