Cancellation Policies - Open Enrollment (Public) Courses
Cancellation by customer
Courses may be cancelled seven days prior to course start date with no cancellation penalty. We prefer at least thirty days, but understand the busy unpredictable nature of industry, and work hard to meet our customer’s needs. Courses cancelled less than seven days prior to the course start date will be charged in full, but customers affected will be provided one free seat of equal or lesser value in any upcoming course desired for a period of one year after the originally cancelled course start date, for each seat cancelled. In some instances, if the cancelled course is not offered within the one year period, the free seat offer may be extended until the first subsequent offering of the particular cancelled course, at the discretion of Orion Technical Training.
Cancellation by Orion Technical Training
Although we will make every attempt to avoid canceling courses from time to time a course may need to be cancelled. We will always provide as much advanced notice as possible and factor in students travel situations in determining whether to cancel a course.
Only customers who have prepaid in full are guaranteed a seat and applicable cancellation guarantees. Also, only customers who have prepaid in full are factored in when determining whether a course has adequate enrollment. We do reserve the right to cancel courses with inadequate enrollment or where unplanned logistical problems arise. We will provide at least seven days advance notice of a course cancellation for cases of inadequate enrollment. Generally, we require at least 3 or more students to run a particular course. For courses cancelled within seven days, a full refund will be provided. For unplanned sudden cancellations (defined as cancellations with less than seven days advanced notice), a full refund will be provided as well as a 50% discount on the next course purchased by the particular customer. When course cancellations arise, we will attempt to contact the applicable parties by all means available (phone, email, fax).
